A spiritual wedding ceremony is a non denominational ceremony and it doesn’t conform to the religious aspects of the mainstream religious beliefs. Although spiritualism is a religion in its own right, it does not have any particular god similar to other religions. There is only 2 components of the service that legally have to be fulfilled and that is:
1. Is there any lawful impediment to the marriage
2. The “I Do” vows
Spiritualist Union provide commitment ceremonies which for all intents and purposes is exactly like a wedding ceremony, but without the legal bindings as conferred within a marriage ceremony. These ceremonies are completely tailored to suit you and your partner and can be performed in any venue of your choice, as with all our ceremonies they focus upon the couple primarily and their needs and wishes for their special day.
